Course Objectives
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to relate their theoretical knowledge on logistics and supply chain management with real processes.
  • Will gain pre-experience on the interrelations and interactions among related logistics functions and among internal and external parties taking part in the scope of a company’s supply chain.
  • Will be able to improve their skills on enhancing the logistics processes, realizing problems or taking necessary actions.
  • Will improve on commenting about logistics related cost items as well as logistics decisions effecting costs, on analyzing the results, on evaluating, on identifying bottlenecks and on enhancing.
  • Will be able to learn the organizational structure and main concepts practically through the applications realized as well as be informed and experienced on some key issues like management, analysis, decision making, strategy and system development.
  • Will be informed and experienced on reporting techniques and on the importance of effective and accurate reporting at all logistics processes.
  • Will be informed and experienced on various logistics modules of enterprise resource planning tools and improve their skills on identifying the existing errors as well as bottlenecks.
  • Will be able to perform main logistics processes through enterprise resource planning tools (Netsis ERP) and effectively get prepared to real business life with the help of the education given parallel to real processes by performing logistics and supply chain management business flows both with physical material flows and with enterprise resource planning software systems.
